Heffner & Weber Companies Role
Since 1965, Mr. Heffner has led his companies in significant large-scale
development in the region. He provides the hands on leadership and
knowledge that have assured the success of his numerous development
ventures.
Career Highlights
Mr. Heffner’s design build and general contracting career began with the
development of nearly one million square feet of office and industrial space
for Maryland Properties, Inc. a subsidiary of McCormick and Co. In late
1965 Mr. Heffner began his own development, design-build and general
contracting operations. Some of his notable projects include the one million
square foot Social Security Administration building in Baltimore, 300 acre
Airport Square office development immediately adjacent to BWI Airport,
and the 200-acre Baymeadow industrial park in Anne Arundel County. He
also developed and constructed numerous other office, laboratory,
flex/industrial, hotels, movie theaters and large-scale retail properties
throughout the region and New England.

Education
Mr. Heffner is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor
of Architecture degree.
